While I had already mapped out a path to financial freedom before I read my first Kiyosaki book, I do credit his books with opening my mind to a much richer future - in every sense of the word. And the games are an entertaining way of "playing" with financial strategies, and introducing your friends to the concept of looking farther than their next paycheck. ^_-
Books
Rich Dad, Poor Dad is an easy read and worth the afternoon it takes to go through it. With this general background, Cashflow Quadrant is the heart of it all. If you read no other Kiyosaki book, read this one.
Games
The CASHFLOW games are really amazing. It's wonderful to be able to learn about your own finanical philosophies, strategies, and pitfalls all on a board game, without risking your hard-earned cash. And there is now even an online version available.
